• Arjuna Natural Extracts Ltd. Sponsored Evaluation of hepatoprotective, antioxidant and anti inflammatory efficacy of Curcuma longa and Phyllanthus niruri extract in Wistar rats.
• Acute toxicity study of polyherbal formulation in collaboration with Vamso Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Dehradun.
• Collaboration with Harshvardhan’s Lab. Pvt. Ltd. Indore for drug analysis and preclinical studies.

A Word from the Director……

SCOPE Drug Research & Development Center is a unique hybrid organization, that brings together researchers, institutions and industry to bridge the gap between primary research and the successful development of new medicines In the years to come, we want the SCOPE to mobilize our investigators around the development and implementation of Drug Research & Development projects as well as specialized training in field of Drug Research & Development.

A number of services will be offered by the SCOPE -DRDC in connection with the various steps involved in pharmaceutical research project activities. Drug Research services will be offered on a priority basis to investigators who are regular or associate members. Services will also be offered to the scientific community to meet their periodic needs.

The investigators of DRDC executive committee have the mandate to establish priorities for the DRDC development and its scientific vision. They also have the mandate to develop academic activities that include continuing education activities in research as well as the professional development of the DRDC employees.

It  is  becoming  more  and  more  imperative  that  we  foster  dialogue  among  our investigators while at the same time maintaining one of our major objectives, i.e., the career development of our young investigators in order to prepare the next generation.

SCOPE inaugurating DRDC that represents a crucial element in the drug research and development. We applaud the work that has been done to date, but we must also work toward strengthening the Research Center's role in promoting and conducting large-scale multi-site drug research, formulation development, analytical studies and preclinical studies.
