       SCOPE initiates collaboration between the institutional research groups and pharmaceutical companies to create and transfer new innovations to the pharma sector. The institutional research group also provides research and development services to other institutes. 
The institute is led by Dr. Sanjay Jain and Dr. Arun K Gupta having expertise in Preclinical studies, synthetic medicinal agents, natural products chemistry, new synthetic methods, stereochemistry, and combinatorial chemistry. Research by Dr. Arun K Gupta is focused on molecular modeling and the development of synthetic methods, including asymmetric methodology for the synthesis of natural products, and for structure-activity studies aimed to improving the therapeutic efficacy of natural products.
The Institute offers scientific services to research and business communities in the area of drug discovery and development. It currently employs over 25 scientists (faculty, scientific and professional staff) and carryout research projects for graduate and post graduate students…

SCOPE initiatives towards enriching its spectrum of pharmacy domain is seeing it moving towards associating itself with Pharma Burocrate’s through Drug Research and Development Centre laboratories who are equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as FTIR, HPLC, UV, Spray Dryer, Freeze Dryer, Cooling Centrifuge, , Gel Electrophoresis, Auto Analyzer, Fluorescent Microscopes, Rotatory Evaporator, USP Dissolution and Disintegration Apparatus, Brookfield Viscometer, Capsule Filling Machines, Coating Pan and Pilot Scale Tablet Manufacturing Unit.  Computational Chemistry lab. equipped with Chem office and Approved Animal house having rats, mice, rabbits and guinea pigs.
